Colorado 2008 trip pictures from the Mineral Belt Trail
The Mineral Belt Trail is a 12 mile loop that passes through the town of Leadville, through some scenic forests and through many historic mining sites.  The trail enters Leadville at an elevation of 9900 feet, leaves town at 10200 and continues to 10600 feet.  The descent back to 9900 feet is a smaooth continuous drop of 700 feet over about 7 miles.
